Gröna Lund’s SCORE! dark ride will combine trackless vehicles, laser-blaster gameplay and a story inspired by the Stockholm park’s own history. Revealed at IAAPA Expo Europe in London, Vekoma’s involvement adds new detail to the attraction first announced in June.
Jora Vision is designing and building the experience alongside the park’s creative team. The fictional setting is an overflowing underground archive, where vintage ride pieces, concert props and forgotten inventions have accumulated. Guests are recruited to restore order by hitting targets and collecting points.

Eight six-person vehicles will use Vekoma’s DRX platform, with positioning technology described by the park as radar-based. They can spin and change direction through the scenes, while the system coordinates movement with lighting, sound and effects. Gröna Lund says SCORE! will be the first attraction to use the platform.

The SEK 205 million project is scheduled to open in spring 2027, occupying approximately 700 square metres between Twister and Katapulten. An exact opening date has not been announced.
The TT Take
Shooting rides can be hit or miss—and we’re not always convinced our aim is the problem. Our benchmark would be the clear, satisfying feedback we enjoy in Toy Story Mania combined with the richly staged, trackless experience of Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway. Gröna Lund drawing on its own amusement park history makes that prospect especially appealing to us. If SCORE! makes every shot feel meaningful while its trackless vehicles carry us through a richly detailed world, this could become a reason to book the trip.
